More Thoughts About Retained Services
Although the retained services covered by Cameo Technology Management are oriented primarily toward
those that you would receive from a CIO or CTO,
we can and do refer customers to other specialists such as
Human Resources, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, Sales Management and
Training.
In each specialty, you will "own" the resource for the contracted period. For
instance, you may decide you need to have them on-site one day a week then for
that day, every week, the executive will work for you
to do with as you see fit.
In addition, like any executive, they are available via email or telephone during "off-hours."
A huge advantage over hiring a consultant, especially given the nature of their
levels of expertise, is that your executive is expected to mentor your staff
and advance the state of the staff area in your organization.
Of course, any on-going projects, whether being performed by your direct staff or
by consultants you have hired, will be monitored, mentored and driven by your retained
executive.
